Project Description

The house was acquired by its current owner with the intention of being rescued for residential use, this property had been altered and used to operate as a small sewing workshop in recent years. In spite of the degree of alteration of the property were possible to rescue important elements of the property. The existing construction was developed with a small "L" layout based on 3 berths, all the rooms retained their original deck with Belgian beams. The general purpose was to rescue original elements as much as possible as well as to use traditional and regional materials that would result in the recreation of a typical house in the historic center of Mérida but perfectly blend with current concepts that dialogue between them.
